What death are you gonna die?

1 Samuel 26:21 (NKJV) - Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David. For I will harm you no more, because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Indeed I have played the fool and erred exceedingly.”
2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith

On the two verses above, we see two men Saul of the Old Testament and Paul (also previously called Saul before he was saved) of the New Testament.
These two men make two different statements which are so important for us children. The Saul of Old Testament at the time when he approached his death, he acknowledged that "HE PLAYED THE FOOL & ERRED EXCEEDINGLY" while the other Saul (Paul) towards his death also makes a totally different statement and says "I FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I KEPT THE FAITH".

Today, I pose a simply question before you "What kind of statement are you going to make towards the end of your life?
Are you keeping the faith, or are you playing the fool and erring exceedingly against God?
Will you die fulfilled or will you die regretting?
What death are you gonna die?

Jesus asked a question one day, saying "Nevertheless when the son of God comes again, will he find faith on earth?"

Friends, let us rise up to faith. Be like the Saul of the new testament.
God bless!

Goodness and Grateful

At noon, i wanted to take my ordered in my friend's house in Senen. I was so lazy to go by my self, so i asked my maid to accompany me. She is about 60 years old, and she already work with me for 22 years. Her name is Eka. She has a family who lives in her house in Bogor. I was asking her a few questions about her life and how she can survive.
She has 2 daughters, they both are married. The first daughter is so unhappy with her life, her husband doesnt have any job for a few months, lately he got a job as a guard, his salary is not enough to suffice their life and pay motorcycle installment. Therefore, they life in Eka's house. The second daughter are more stable because her husband has a quite good job. Eventhough he has to work from Bogor to Jakarta everyday, they still survive.
Eka still has a mother, she is very old, about 100 years. She is sick and very weak. Her daily activity just sit, sleep, eat, and dazed ; doing nothing.
I was thinking how can Eka suffice her life from her salary to defray her mom, first daughter n husband, also the electricity cost and her mom's meds. Nevertheless, she still thankful .
I was asshamed at myself that sometimes i still complain and querulous about my daily routine and activity when i can easily get money from my parents, and have time for having fun.
Yes, it is our nature as a human being who never satisfy. But God taught us to be grateful in everything because everthing happens for our goodness. God knows what is the best for us. So, be grateful! :)
